Are there services for people with disabilities?
We do NOT have wheelchairs available. There is a handicap accessible parking area available by concert area.
There are also accessible restrooms. This is a first come first serve event, therefore there is no reserved wheelchair spaces.
Please note: Festival does not provide personal care, golf cart rides, or push service. Please bring attendants if needed.

Is Jazz the only music featured at the festival?
The Festival celebrates music. The music encompasses every style associated with Blues, including
R&B, gospel, Cajun, zydeco, Afro-Caribbean, Folk, Latin, Rock, Rap, Country, Bluegrass and everything in between.
And of course there is lots of both contemporary and traditional jazz.

When will the performance schedule be released?
A complete schedule will be available closer to festival time (approximately mid-June).

When do tickets go on sale?
The entire music series is free and open to the public, so there will be “NO” tickets for sale.
There is limited seating for the VIP’s and the general public. All general public seating will be provided on a first come-first serve basis.

How do I get to the Newburgh waterfront?
The Music Series is accessible by car, taxi and the Newburgh-Beacon ferry
(The city of Newburgh is easily accessed from both I-84 and I-87--we suggest using MapQuest for complete directions). Be certain to double check ferry schedule for return trip to Beacon.
The last ferry back to Beacon is approximately 8:18 pm. (The music series is 6:30 pm—9:30 pm).
There is very limited parking by the concert stand, and spots will fill up quickly. There is parking close by at the ferry parking lot, as well as the Ann Street parking lot about 1/8 mile away .
There will be a shuttle to provide transportation to and from the landing. The shuttle will run from 5:00 pm to 11:00.pm only.

Is anything prohibited at the Music Series?
Bicycles are not allowed on the grass or boardwalk.
Blankets and ground tarps may not exceed 6'x 8'.
Inserting stakes, poles, or any other objects into the ground is prohibited.
Video and audio recording equipment is strictly prohibited.
No unauthorized vending. Weapons, illicit drugs, and other contraband are strictly prohibited.
Festival management reserves the right to deny entry or remove anyone in violation of these polices.
Bags and vehicles may be subject to search.

Do you help concertgoers with booking hotels? Do you suggest reservations?
The Quality Inn is our official accommodation host. We anticipate the
Music Series will be very popular and therefore a high demand for hotel rooms. So we advise making reservations as soon as possible.
Some hotels take reservations as early as a year in advance.

Is seating available?
There is very limited seating available. It is on a first come– first serve basis. The audience may sit/stand on the grass or boardwalk.
You are also welcome to bring lawn chairs or blankets.

What do I do in the event of an emergency?
The first aid station will be available at The Wand. There will be volunteers available to assist with minor
emergencies and Mobile Life will be on standby for more serious emergencies.
